OK, Here is a picture of the new glass bead blasting cabinet. Inside is Jame's Fat Wicked. In the second picture is the big one inch fork to go with the frame. Still need to install the paragon canti's and the silvered tabs. Hub
My love for bicycles started in the BMX hay day when Powerlite, JMC, Torker, and P.K. Ripper ruled the track. At the age of 16 I land my first summer job wrenching at Eddie's Bicycles,(formerly John's Derailleurs). In 1987 I built my first frame, a Cannondale/ Mountain Goat inspired 24-26 fillet brazed steel frame. !990 I worked as a frame builder in Central PA for a small frame builder as I went to school for Manufacturing Engineering Technology BS degree. Upon graduating, I was promoted to production engineer, where I continued to build frames until 1999. From 1999 to present I have instructed at the college level in manufacturing. Spring of 2009 I took the plunge and started Hubcap Cycles. Although the company is new, I have several hundred frames under my belt. I feel my frames speak for themselves.
